1990年，麗品藝術負責人李麗娜女士係台灣藝術拍賣公司「傳家藝術」創辦人之一並任總監一職，其後於「慶宜藝術拍賣公司」股東兼藝術總監。多年從事台灣藝術市場拍賣，第二藝術市場交流和藝術品鑑定、估價等工作，因工作忙碌於1998年休息離開拍賣公司，移民海外。由於對藝術的愛好，也憑著多年的經驗，於2008年開設了麗品藝術，為對外開放之展覽空間並推廣藝術文化，提供一個欣賞藝術的空間，讓喜好藝術收藏的人，有機會接觸到好的作品。
麗品藝術長期經營名家作品，包括台灣前輩藝術家與中國藝術名家，具有台灣和中國美術史重要地位、美術館典藏和拍賣公司徵件作品。 並經紀最具代表性的當代藝術家且全力栽培。另外也積極與原創性的年輕藝術家合作，每年定期舉辦展覽。麗品藝術想做的是「藝術史脈絡和豐富的社會文化背景下，交織出不同時期的藝術家，從美術館的經典畫家到中壯輩的當代藝術再到年輕的藝術新秀。」如此多元的文化個性，交織成一場豐盛的藝術饗宴。
